What to expect when joining Dialect?

Dialect's Recruitment Process

1st step

Initial telephone chat

Once you have applied for a role with us, we will review your application and if we consider you are a good fit, you'll receive a friendly call from us. We are keen to;


  • Understand more about your skills and experience and how these could transfer into the role.
  • We'd like to share more details about the role you've applied for and understand your career aspirations.
  • Provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have about the position, the team or our company culture.


After this initial conversation, if everything aligns, we'll proceed to the next steps!

2nd Step

Interview

We'll contact you to arrange a time for the interview that's convenient for both you and Dialect ensuring you have the time and support to best prepare for this.


The interview will be with the line manager for the role and will;

  • Provide an opportunity to get to know you better
  • Enable us to ask a number of questions which will allow you to demonstrate your abilities and skills that you have from both work and life.
  • Ensure you fully understand the expectations of the role and what it means to be part of #teamdialect.


Don't worry! We won't ask tricky questions and we'll ensure to keep it as friendly and informal as possible to give you the best opportunity for success.

3rd Step

Receiving our offer

If you have received an offer from us - Congratulations! We will provide guidance through the next steps to have you on board with us as soon as possible!


If you have not been successful we will share feedback directly with you.

Pre-employment checks

Right to work in the UK

To proceed with your application, you need to confirm your Right to Work in the UK.  If you hold a time-limited Visa, we will require the following share codes:

  • A share code to prove your Right to Work in the UK. Visit the UK Government and follow the steps: https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work
  • A share code to confirm your immigration status via your eVisa System - https://www.gov.uk/get-access-evisa

Background Checking Report through Experian

We will complete an;

  • Identity check
  • Adverse Financial Check
  • Basic Criminal Records - DBS


You'll receive an email with a link to complete the application form and upload the required documents.


Before completing the application, we want to make sure you know what documents are required. Please find all the documents accepted to prove your identity and address. Choose one from each list that works well for you.
