The Legal Bit!
The Payment Service Regs 2017 places an obligation on the cardholder to notify the payment service provider /PSP (card issuer) without undue delay on becoming aware of the loss, theft, misappropriation or unauthorised use of the card. It also places an obligation on the PSP to provide appropriate means at all times for the cardholder to notify if this occurred.
